Ride E-Jeeps in QC for FREE

QC residents have another reason to rejoice. they still have until August 20, 2010 to avail themselves of this FREE electric-jeepney ride recently launched by their local goverment, as part of their Go Green Project.  each e-jeep, priced at PhP 625,000.00, can accommodate up to 14 persons.   charging time is from 8 - 10 hours for a 55 kilometer drive.


FREE ride routes are:
7 - 9am -- vasra brgy hall to quezon city hall and vice versa
5 - 8pm -- kalayaan ave to elliptical road and mrt edsa

here's hoping that other major cities in the metro will follow suit.
