About the Event

A Run For The Pasig River 10.10.10 is a project of ABS-CBN Foundation’s Kapit Bisig Para Sa Ilog Pasig.

The overall goal of this advocacy is to clean up the Pasig River. To achieve this you first need to clean the esteros that feed the River and then keep it clean by training and empowering the local communities to be Champions of this cause. Project also involves relocating the riverside dwellers to safer and better housing.

How to Register

Each team member from the affiliated companies is encouraged to TAG-A-FRIEND and be that volunteer’s company sponsor. The more volunteers he can get, the better.

If interested to volunteer, please contact your company sponsor and relay your intention to volunteer. The company sponsor contact person will get the following personal information:

General Health and Well-being: (to be able to properly assign each person to a task that they can handle)

This information will then be submitted to the Project Committee. Or, you can directly email the information above to Ms. Denise Roman at denise_roman@ctsi-logistics.com. Please use “101010 Run Volunteer” as your email subject.

Volunteer registration is open until August 30, 2010.

Only pre-registered volunteers will be allowed to man the booths on Event Day. There will be no on-site volunteer registration.

Volunteers will all be asked to sign a waiver. A volunteer information packet will be given to the volunteers at a later date. This will contain their volunteer ID, lanyard, guidelines and t-shirt. All guidelines have to be read and understood well in advance of the event.
