i like this movie for the mystery and suspense it builds up as each scene unfolds. you'd never believe the major character, julianne moore, would end up the way she did. for me it was like, "oh man! not her! how could she?"
it's about family ties. the bond that rests between a man and his wife. honesty and trust. and if your marriage has gone thru honesty - 3rd party issues in the past, this might open old wounds. so if you're the type who has a hard time letting go, don't watch this. most esp if you and hubs have already kissed and made-up many times over.
just like any convervative parent... if you're thinking of letting your 16 year old son or daughter watch this movie with you, don't. too early. the lines and some scenes are for mature audience only. but i highly suggest you watch this with your husband or wife. it can be an eye opener for both of you.
