i wish you all had a wonderful and meaningful christmas and new year celebrations.  mine was fantastic and i can't ask for anything more.  all the people who means so much in my life were in full attendance.  who wouldn't be thankful for that? 

this new year, let's promise to become better persons -- better citizens of our country.  better parents.  better children.  better students.  better, better, better in everything we do. 

aren't you excited for 2011?  i am. 

i welcome the new year with a big smile and open arms.  i'm just so excited to find out what's in store for me this year.  ecstatic really.  i hope it's the same way with you all.

Paskotitap 2010 in Pasig City

we super enjoyed watching all the beautiful floats during the recently concluded Paskotitap in Pasig last sunday, 12th of december 2010.  we're very lucky as the parade passed by our street so we didn't have to go too far just to watch it.

the theme was fairy tales.  so there was beauty and the best, alice in wonderland, aladdin, mulan, up the movie, and a lot lot more!  it was like being in hk disneyland once again.

Burned-Out Recipe

my schedule this past week was super hectic!

i just started in a new company.. my brother had dengue (he just got clearance to go home today.. Thank God!) and was hospitalized.. i was able to get only a temp yaya (they are so difficult to find these days), still no sign of a permanent yaya for 2011.. clothes to iron is now neck deep.. i have to wake up at 5am everyday to cook breakfast and lunch for everyone.. get dressed to commute to work.. whew!  call this a perfect recipe for burn-out.

so please forgive me if i cannot post as often as i used to  =(

we were at the recently concluded canon warehouse sale in tiendesitas a few days ago and thougt of purchasing a new camera.. the canon sx130is (as mentioned above).  but we had to forego such plan to give way to our insurance payments which are more important of course.  here are some pictures you might want to check.

what we liked the most were the tons of freebies they bundled with every printer, videocam and camera purchase.  it was exciting!
